I'm going to high school and i just want to know if it is easy bcuz i gets lots of mixed answers?
Question:
im starting ninth grade in a few weeks i usually get good grades pretty easily but is it harder in high school? also does high school suck?

Answer:
It is what you make of it. Its as hard as you want it to be. Very general answers for a reason. As with most of life's challenges, the result you get will be determined by the amount of effort you put forth. If you want to get awesome grades and get into a great college, you can do it. You just have to put in the time and effort required for you to achieve that. It can be fun if you don't think of it as a negative experience. Dreading each day of school will only make it worse and drag the time by slowly. Look forward to doing everything in school to the best of your abilities and you will end up being a happier student and a good candidate for a great college.

Is it possible for someone with lots of native ancestry but is mixed with some caucasian ancestry?
Question:
To have hair that is wavy but not straight. I ask because my hair wavy but I know other mexican americans who are lighter skinned and look less native and more caucasian that have hair straighter than mine. Or do you think I might have more caucasian ancestry than I think.

Answer:
It is possible. How you receive your genes or the DNA that determines your appearance such as pigmentation, facial feature, bone structure, height and type of hair is a roll of the dice. You get it from your Autosomal DNA which is what most of your DNA is. You get Autosomal 50-50 from both parents but not 25% from each grandparent. The reason why it will be bias in favor of your grandmother or grandfather on both sides of the family. How you inherited this bias will not be how your siblings inherited it. Actually you might have received zilch from one of your grandparents. For instance on your mother's side you might have received her 50% totally from either your grandmother or your grandfather. The same is true on your father's side. Also you can have things about your appearance that doesn't show up in your parents because they carried the genes for those traits recessively. Genealogy and Genetics are not the same thing as in Genealogy we trace ancestry using documents/records. You might get a better detailed explanation if you go under Science and Mathematics and the subcategory Biology.

Is my engine cracked? 2002 mazda626 , lots of smoke ,water mixed with oil in dipstick and oil cap.?
Question:
The car was overheating and shut off automatically, I replaced the thermostat and antifreeze, now i have the problem of the oil and water mix, could a cracked head be the problem or head gasket?or engine replacement?

Answer:
that would be the head gasket, thats what keeps the coolant away from the oil, but when that seal breaks it isn't good for your motor and you could furthur damage your car. it's not a costly repair if you can do it your self, but at a shop it's gonna cost you because of the labor to remove the head and manifolds to replace the seal. good luck

Old mahogany table.Lots of wax/polish build-up with dirt mixed in. How do I clean it without scratching it?
Question:
I've tried cleaning it by taking a damp cloth and rubbing and rubbing...and rubbing...and rubbing. The original finish is under all the build-up, but hand rubbing it would take days if not weeks. Help!

Answer:
Using Murphy's Oil Soap is an excellent idea! Here is an answer found on the net, which is well worth heeding... "Please, please, please do not "strip" your furniture just to remove wax buildup. Understand that "stripping" your furniture removes its original finish all the way down to the bare wood. This is not good for your furniture and if your treasured piece is an antique, "stripping" and refinishing will decrease its monetary value by as much as half. Would you remove the paint finish on your car because it was too hard to remove the dried turtle wax on the surface? The same principle applies here. It is safer for your wood finish to have coating of wax than to be "stripped" of its finish altogether. In fact it's preferable. A good wax coating actually protects a wood's finish from many household pollutants such as cigarette smoke. And in environments where there is a lack of humidity, the wax will also protect the wood from splitting. Also understand that wax buildup is a sign that your furniture's finish needs a proper cleaning, not a "stripping". Wax buildup is noticeable when a wax-base or oil-base furniture polish is applied over and over again without a proper buffing of its surface. The furniture surface will look dull. It might even feel slightly sticky to the touch. There are two methods to try to remove excess build up. One is to actually buff the piece with a soft lint-free rag. Old yet clean cloth diapers are perfect (if you can find them). First wipe off any excess dust then buff in a circular motion with some pressure applied to the surface. Keep doing this until the surface becomes less dull and sticky. If your cloth gets dirty, change to a clean one. Remember you want to remove and smooth out the excess wax on the furniture, not reapply it. Finish by buffing again with another clean cloth with the grain of the wood. If this is done properly, you will feel that your arms have gotten a good workout. Don't be afraid to use a little elbow grease." So, yes your arms may fall off while buffing... but much better for the wood and you furniture piece. Tom A Albion, Michigan Sr. Construction Manager
